The Geoffrey Platts Loop Trail is OPEN! On October 15, 2022, local volunteers worked together to clear and re-open the Geoffrey Platts Loop Trail for public use. Volunteers worked to brush back monsoon vegetation from the path, make the trail visible and safe, and complete minor trail erosion repairs.
To access the Geoffrey Platts Loop Trail from central Patagonia, head northwest on 4′” Avenue, take a left onto Pennsylvania Ave and continue onto Blue Haven Rd, and continue 0.7 miles to the trailhead on your right. The Platts loop Trail can also be accessed from a connector trail leaving the Paton Hummingbird Center.

The Cemetary Trail has reopened!
On December 22, local volunteers worked together to clear and re-open the Cemetery Trail for public use. Volunteers worked to brush back vegetation from the path, make the trail visible and safe, and complete minor trail erosion repairs.
The Cemetery Trail can be accessed 150 feet west of Costello Or. & McKeown Ave. or from the cemetery southwest of town.
