Did you know that the Borderlands Wildlife Preserve has two amazing trails to explore?! The Smith Canyon Loop (2.29-mile loop) and Cross Corridor Trail (4.12 mile out and back).
Both trails are rated easy to moderate and with the weather in the 70’s it’s the perfect time to get out and hike!
Humans are not the only ones who enjoy using the BWP trails. Many times animals use human-created trails as they are the path of least resistance. If you look closely you can see this coyote has a big smile enjoying the recent rain and a well-maintained trail.
