In the years before the Opera House became a reality, Evan Kory, our first artist in residence and former board member shared his remarkable artistry performing in house concerts. A truly gifted pianist, Evan will present a richly varied program featuring works by Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Philip Glass, and more, performed on two distinctive instruments. Among them is a beautifully restored 1881 Blüthner piano, whose remarkable voice offers a rare opportunity to hear music from the Romantic repertoire as it was meant to be heard.

This special anniversary concert brings together great music, a historic instrument, and the extraordinary intimacy of the Opera House—a fitting celebration of a decade devoted to the joy and artistry of live performance.
