Dos Palmas Vacation Home Pays It Forward

Rooted in the past. Involved in the present. Investing in the future.

That’s the way the Dos Palmas owners describe their approach to life and it’s easy to understand why.

Rooted in the PAST is a reference to Dos Palmas the vacation home – a 50′ long 1958 Spartan “Imperial Villa” that was placed on a lot near the center of Patagonia by the original owner in 1959. It has been restored & updated by subsequent owners but its sleek lines & retro furnishings are definitely a blast from the past.

Involved in the PRESENT characterizes  the current owners, two generations of the Shore family.

Tom & Linda moved to Patagonia four years ago from the heart of Phoenix. They are avid collectors and volunteer  their time as curators at The Patagonia Museum. Their son & his wife relocated their family from Michigan a year ago. In addition to being partners in the Dos Palmas venture, Ryan & Samantha have started small businesses in town and are involved with activities at the local school.

Investing in the FUTURE refers to the Shores’ plan to donate a percentage of the Dos Palmas rental revenue to  the Patagonia school system.

The third generation of Shores who are currently 5th grade & pre-K Lobos are the motivation behind the “giving back”  program.
