SUMMARY:Evan Kory\, Pianist – 10th Anniversary Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us in celebrating ten years of outstanding performances in our beautiful Opera House with an exceptional evening of piano music spanning centuries and musical styles. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the years before the Opera House became a reality\, Evan Kory\, our first artist in residence and former board member shared his remarkable artistry performing in house concerts. A truly gifted pianist\, Evan will present a richly varied program featuring works by Bach\, Mozart\, Schumann\, Philip Glass\, and more\, performed on two distinctive instruments. Among them is a beautifully restored 1881 Blüthner piano\, whose remarkable voice offers a rare opportunity to hear music from the Romantic repertoire as it was meant to be heard. \nThis special anniversary concert brings together great music\, a historic instrument\, and the extraordinary intimacy of the Opera House—a fitting celebration of a decade devoted to the joy and artistry of live performance.
